Operation and phases of the line
The structure of the system incorporates an online work cycle with a step-by-step progress that begins with manual loading onto the conveyor and the pre-treatment of the components inside the washing tunnel with a 12-phase treatment. Aqueous solutions added with chemical solutions are sprayed on the piece that passes through the various phases of the tunnel via a bi-rail overhead conveyor.
At the end of the above phase the components reach the oven to be dried after the washing and pre-treatment stage. The drying oven consists of a treatment chamber and a heat generator powered by a direct fired gas burner which allows a thermal resistance of 95% greater than traditional burners using the heat exchange from an indirect combustion chamber.
Following the cooling at room temperature the component is ready for the next painting phase inside the PVC cabin equipped with automatic powder coating reciprocators, gun, powder recovery system and a rapid colour change system. The excess dust is therefore recovered and restored in continuous cycle reducing the waste level of the powder.
Finally, the powder-coated component is transferred to the polymerization oven and then in the cooling tunnel at room temperature, to then be unloaded manually from the automatic conveyor.
