For a major company in the crawler and mini-excavator manufacturing sector, we assembled a completely customised liquid paint touch-up system.
For the customer, the goal was to ensure their products longevity and sturdiness, but also to focus on the smallest details for a product of superior quality.
What does the paint touch-up system consist of?
The Eurotherm system consists of:
- a preparation area where the tracked vehicle is abraded and prepared for painting,
- a vertical flow pressurised spray booth for liquid painting
- a drying phase inside an oven at a maximum temperature of 90°C.
Washing cabin and rain test chamber
By an adjacent area, we also installed a cabin with a washing skid for washing the vehicles with cleaning solutions that remove traces of oil and grease from previous processes.
Inside the cabin the customer can also carry out the ‘Rain Test’ to check the weathertightness of the driver’s cab to the weather elements before final dispatch. During this test, in fact, special nozzles spray water from the roof in such a manner that is very similar to rain, thus ensuring maximum resistance of the crawler once it is put on the market.
