Eurotherm does it again in the UK together with PFS, Paint Finishing Systems Ltd which has been involved in the design and production of painting systems in England for over 25 years, to deliver the new automatic powder coating system to Broxap.
Broxap is a North Staffordshire company founded in 1946 and specialized in the design and production of street furniture in the city which in recent years has set itself a very specific objective: to drastically reduce the ecological footprint of its operations and improve the quality and safety of the working conditions of the operators.
The automatic powder coating system
The automatic powder coating system supplied by Eurotherm is equipped with a highly innovative pre-treatment area and with a dual-rail overhead conveyor which allows, through the ” power&free ” system, to manually load the pieces before they pass through the processing areas automatically.
The pre-treatment cycle includes 6 phases:
- 1st Hot phosphodegreasing
- 2nd Hot phosphodegreasing
- 1st rinse with mains water
- 2nd rinse with mains water
- Rinse with osmo water
- Passivation
