Eurotherm has recently completed the installation of a liquid painting system for a major Italian company active in the Aerospace and Defense sector present on the market since the 1970s.

The system installed by Eurotherm is made up of a set of elements designed to work in perfect synergy with each other, ensuring an optimized production flow. For this reason, the various rooms were installed next to each other to build a single system connected by an elevated conveyor.
The painting plant for the Aerospace and Defense sector consists of:
- Deburring Room : This section allows the removal of any imperfections on the pieces before painting, ensuring a smooth and uniform surface.
- Pressurized Liquid Paint Booth : The heart of the system is a booth designed to provide a controlled environment. Pressurization ensures the quality of paint application, minimizing contamination and optimizing coating uniformity. The integration of advanced ventilation and filtration systems allows compliance with the most stringent safety and quality standards.
- Drying oven : once the painting is completed, the pieces are transported to the drying oven integrated with an automatic temperature regulation system, which ensures maximum energy efficiency and precision in the process.
- Paint preparation room with adjoining storage room : Eurotherm has integrated a dedicated paint preparation area and a large space for material storage into the plant. This ensures that all stages of the process are centralised and that materials are always available in optimum condition for use.
- Overhead manual conveyor : directly connects the painting booth to the drying oven. This system allows the easy transport of the pieces from one phase to another, reducing handling times and improving the overall efficiency of the process.
