Three-phase washing cell for washing automotive components
For an important multinational in the production of automotive aluminium components, we have created a new three-phase washing cell.
The 3 phases of the washing cell (+ 1)
The washing cell includes the following procedures:
- hot degreasing at 50 ° C;
- 1 ° Rinse with network water at 50 ° C;
- 2 ° rinse with D.I water at room temperature;
- Final drying at 60 ° C.
The specifications of the mono-cell washing tunnel
The washing cell was built by taking into consideration the specific productive requirements of the customer to wash aluminum frames one at a time with maximum weight of 100 kg.
In the mono-cell washing tunnel the three washing phases and the drying phase are managed via an overhead conveyor with automatic insertion for loading and unloading and movement of the part during washing
During the various washing phases there are drainage and dripping breaks to limit the mixing and contamination between the tanks. The liquid solutions that fall from the parts during treatment are in fact collected in the underlying tanks and remittances through pumps and collectors that feed the nozzle holders. In this way the collection tanks are able to keep their chemical properties longer.
The heating of the insulated tanks is via immersed electrical heating elements.
The mono-cell washing tunnel is finally completed with the drying function, made by electric batteries placed in a direct air flow in the air recirculation box inserted in the wall at the bottom of the tunnel.
