To meet the growing demand for powder coating of large metal components, Verniciatura Vannucci S.r.l., <\/a>a company specializing in finishing metal surfaces for the carpentry, furniture, and automotive sectors, chose to invest in a new semi-automatic plant designed by Eurotherm.<\/p>\n<\/h3>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

The goal of the project was to increase production capacity<\/strong> and raise the quality of coatings<\/strong> by integrating next-generation pretreatment and handling technologies. The design paid particular attention to operational flexibility<\/strong>, process sustainability<\/strong>, and scalability of the plant<\/strong> so as to support future developments envisioned by the company’s growth strategy. <\/p>\n

The new Eurotherm manual powder coating plant, equipped with a state-of-the-art single-stage pretreatment system, ensures maximum operational efficiency and a sustainable, high-performance production cycle.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n\n

\n Washing pretreatment with innovative chemistry <\/h2>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n

The single-stage pretreatment takes place within an automatic Ecojet cell equipped with a spray system designed for the application of Chemtec’s TORAN 3\u00ae, a state-of-the-art, single-phase product with low environmental impact that breaks down, engulfs and neutralizes oils present on part surfaces. The process, under the banner of maximum sustainability, does not require the use of water and does not lead to the generation of effluent. <\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n

A motorized lift station with a capacity of up to 1,000 kg facilitates the loading\/unloading of parts. A semi-automatic overhead conveyor with integrated transfer logic enables safe handling of parts along the different stages of the coating cycle, starting with pretreatment. <\/p>\n

The new powder coating plant processes shapes up to 6,500 mm long, 1,500 mm deep\u0300 and 2,400 mm high.<\/p>\n<\/h3>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

\n

Designed for operational flexibility\u0300 and high performance, it enables the painting and handling of strong and particularly heavy structures by means of the automatic transferor.<\/p>\n

The powder coating booth accommodates large parts and handles small batches and different color changes. The plant’s high flexibility allows paint cycles to be adapted to the specific protection and finishing requirements of the end customer. <\/p>\n

A static oven is integrated into the plant, which is used both for drying after pretreatment and for curing the paint.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n\n

The new Eurotherm powder coating plant, installed at Verniciatura Vannucci, was also featured in an in-depth technical article published in ipcm\u00ae magazine (no. 94, July\/August 2025)<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The article highlights the innovative features of the plant, the TORAN 3\u00ae single-stage pre-treatment system, and the results obtained in terms of energy efficiency, production flexibility and
