\nIf the search for new materials in the shipbuilding sector is playing an important role in the innovation of machines with a view to lightening them, earthmoving machines <\/strong>remain anchored to a primary objective: robustness which translates into their adaptability to different types of terrain and under different operating conditions.<\/p>\n

For this reason, we had to interface with pieces exceeding 12.5 tons <\/strong>, but we also had to study a customized system capable of meeting the company’s needs in terms of high<\/strong> production cadence and optimization of workflows <\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The result was an automatic painting system equipped with LESTA robots with self-learning<\/a> <\/u>for painting.

The automatic liquid painting system supplied by Eurotherm<\/h2>\n

The customer’s primary need was to obtain a finish that would guarantee the product high resistance to wear. <\/strong>Earthmoving machines in fact, they operate in extreme conditions and must be designed not only to withstand adverse environmental conditions, but also to meet increasingly demanding quality standards.<\/p>\n

The painting system was thus designed based on the needs of the customer who required to transport counterweights of trucks, cranes, earthmoving machines weighing even more than 12.5 tons with a tact time of 30 minutes <\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This is an automatic liquid painting line for heavy pieces, the system for transporting the pieces on trolleys linked to a roller conveyor has been studied according to the customer’s needs.<\/p>\n

The complete painting cycle includes:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • manual loading on the piece transport trolley;<\/li>\n
  • automatic painting with a first layer of primer<\/li>\n
  • drying at 30\u00b0C;<\/li>\n
  • drying at 50\u00b0C;<\/li>\n
  • manual painting for finishing;<\/li>\n
  • withering;<\/li>\n
  • manual unloading of finished pieces.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
